LAPTOP TECHNICIAN

Duty hours: 11 hrs + 1 hr break

Salary: AED2, 300.00 – AED3, 000.00 per month (depends on expertise and experience) + commission

RESPONSIBILITIES:

–          Operating system installation and configuration.

–          Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers.

–          Installing and configuring all the peripherals, components and drivers.

–          Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks.

–          Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated.

–          Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.

–          Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference.

–          Repair laptops and computer server and system parts.

–          Diagnose computer servers’ issues by using different types of test equipment and tools.

–          Computer and laptop assembling and maintenance

–          Checking and troubleshooting whole circuit of motherboard, removing and replacing chips, rebelling chip set, reprogramming BIOS, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

–          Laptop motherboard chip level repair.

–          Proven experience as computer and laptop technician.

–          Very good knowledge and understanding of IP addressing & LAN

–          Experience with LAN/WAN networks and repairing of SMPS & HDD

–          Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components.

–          Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

–          Excellent troubleshooting skills.

–          Very good communication abilities.

–          Exceptional organising and time-management skills.
