Our Middle East Sales Team has a new opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new target markets, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to team and individual targets.
This position will be based in Dubai, in our DAFZA office reporting to the Divisional Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Identify and develop new business opportunities with new & current clients, in existing industries or new target markets that can be served by our equipment line.
Coordinate the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities, plus other relevant marketing initiatives
Discuss specific client requirements with the Design Engineers, to ensure the product range can be adapted to meet their specifications
Work with the Engineers and Project Management Team to confirm specific client requirements, timeframes for installation and tna practices and requirements
Asses and review, on an ongoing basis, results of all sales activities and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve unsatisfactory conditions
Evaluate, develop and execute targeted initiatives to help grow sales and overall support for tna’s equipment including annual business plans with objectives
Liaise with Technical Support to achieve and maintain client satisfaction, from installation and commissioning to maintenance
Ensure sound knowledge of tna’s products and services is maintained and developed on a continual basis, and accurately communicated to customers
Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitors and competitor pricing
Represent tna at trade fairs, exhibitions & networking events (including some weekends)
Other tasks / duties as reasonably requested
Qualifications & Knowledge
Desired Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications in a business administration, sales, marketing, commerce or engineering discipline are considered, but not mandatory
Working knowledge of current marketplace trends
Sound knowledge of selling strategies is essential
Work Experience:
Previous experience in capital machinery sales and/or engineering roles is desirable
Sales management history, with proven results of consistently driving the sales process from plan to close, ensuring outcomes are achieved
Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food or packaging) is advantageous
Skills & Abilities
Superior communication (speaking & listening), negotiation and influencing skills & abilities
Able to stage a selling process that overcomes objection and indifferences and connects client needs with tna solutions
Ability to think strategically with good reasoning ability Able to build strong relationships both internally and externally
Able to problem solve & make decisions in line with organisational philosophies and practices
Strong computer literacy
Valid driver’s license and car in good working order
Valid Passport with more than 6 months before expiry
Bilingual with English language proficiency
Fluency in Arabic language is mandatory
