We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in banking and compliance to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of financial regulations and practices, along with hands-on experience in managing bank-related transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, including bank statements and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct audits of financial transactions and processes.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
Monitor changes in compliance regulations and assess their impact on the company.
Provide support for internal controls and risk management strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on banking and compliance.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
